About: Clients

Founder & Principal Carrie Burd has 20+ years of corporate and senior leadership experience across multiple sectors, industries, and functions, which has allowed her to build a diverse professional portfolio. She has extensive experience advising executives, coaching leaders, mentoring talent, managing teams, and partnering with clients to design and deliver strategies, policies, programs, training and workshops. 


She holds the industry-recognized, globally renowned Certified Diversity Professional® credential and is certified as a Diversity Recruiter®, Wellness Improvement System® Method Coach and Mental Health First Aider, She is also a regulated HR professional and member of the International Coaching Federation.


In addition to running her own consultancy, Carrie is a Coach with Niagara Institute, an Associate with Leadership Development Canada, and a Contributing Writer and Speaker for IWS Inc. 


She is a graduate of the University of Toronto Rotman School of Management Advanced Program in HR Management, holds multiple certificates in DEI, indigenous studies, and alternative dispute resolution, and is accredited to administer emotional intelligence and high potential talent assessments.

Carrie is an active member of a number of professional development and networking associations and roundtables, volunteers in the nonprofit sector, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Jean Augustine Centre for Young Women's Empowerment and its HR & Compensation Committee.
